My Weirdest moment?

This has got to be when rather hard i had my bottom pinched while nobody was in reaching distance.

Guys Cliffe house still holds the creepiest location for me but always waiting for somewhere to prove its truly No.1 haunted location.

Most Liked places to Investigate?

This has to be Alcatraz so many things must have happened there, holds so much history what a great place this would be to hold a ghost hunt.

I became interested in the Paranormal in my early twenties, it all started after i went on a ghost hunt, what happened that night i still can’t explain to this day, but after that i wanted to know more and joined the PN team where i can honestly say i’ve seen and witnessed some weird and wonderful things that keep me intrigued.

My Scariest Incident?

Oh this is a hard one as a lot of things make me jump, and make me hold my breath, but for me it is when we were investigating Guys Cliffe House and after an event a few of us went back in to the butchery area where there is no electric at all, and the room felt odd and extremely dark anyway , but all of a sudden the brightest light shone from a corner of the room, this was heart stopping stuff as no one at all could of produced that light even with the torches we had…..

The Creepiest Location?

The creepiest location for me is a hard one as i have been to several places now but if i had to choose it would have to be… Guys Cliffe House in Warwick because it is one of these houses that you don’t even know is there and when you drive up to it, it always has a feeling as though you are being watched. There is an air of untold history that surrounds it and adds to its mystery….

Most Like to Investigate?

I have been trying for years to get into an Asylum( not me personally) but for a ghost hunt…. i think it would be a fantastic place to try but to date I cannot find one that opens its doors to the public…Alcatraz in San Francisco is also another one i would like to try.

Funniest moment on a ghost hunt ?

There have been alot of funny moments that still make me chuckle, one of my favourites was probably at Nottingham Caves , where we were all stood along a bridge and one by one everyone had the feeling of something grabbing their legs…. watching everyone shrieking and jumping is funny , but then suddenly Bev ( Team member) screams and literally jumps into my arms… seeing and listening to everyone laughing at a team member jumping out of their skin was hilarious….

I was hooked on finding out more about the paranormal ever since my first ghost hunt at Guys Cliffe House with Paranormal Nights.  Each event brings new experiences and things happen that you just can’t explain, and I am always excited in anticipation of what the next event will bring! 

My Scariest Incident?

I definitely remember the first time I was touched by a spirit!  It was at Guys Cliffe House and I almost ended up in Pip’s lap!  It was scary as I hadn’t experienced that before but it was a fantastic night and we had great activity at one of my favourite locations.

The Creepiest Location?

I would say this is the Falstaff Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon – you just get a feeling that you are being watched by a number of spirits, some happier that you are there than others!  I can’t wait to go back and investigate more, that place has more secrets to tell!

Most Liked places to Investigate?

The older venues with different layers of history to uncover intrigue me the most like Warwick Castle and Guys Cliffe House.  I also really enjoy communicating with spirits using the Ouija board and finding out about how they used to live and getting messages across from the ‘other side’

Nothing yet that has had me running for the car.  The Coach House at Guys Cliffe and the dungeon at Warwick Castle make me feel very uncomfortable, but as the newest member – watch this space!

Having been to ‘Mary Kings Close’ in Edinburgh in the daylight where I experienced some activity, it would be really good to go back at night. Otherwise some of the up and coming venues we have lined up.

Funniest moment on a Ghost Hunt.

Sitting in one of the rooms upstairs at Guys Cliffe, on a vigil, we could hear footsteps outside (possibly on the stairs) and whispers.  We are all sat in the dark in silence listening hardly daring to breathe. Suddenly the downstairs door alarm beeps, we all nearly ended up in each other’s laps!  A team member had brought someone from another vigil in. Well at least our heart muscles had a good work out and we all had a good laugh about it.

My Scariest Incident.

Although fairly new to the team I almost daren’t answer this as I feel I may be tempting fate but so far I haven’t come across anything that has made me bolt for the door, although there was one incident in the cave at Guys Cliffe House that made me more than a little nervous.

Being an apprentice there are lots of venues that I haven’t experienced yet and I may be better placed to answer this next Spring when I’ve been to some more of our venues but I have to say that there are two areas in  Guys Cliffe House that I feel very uncomfortable in and don’t like to go near when I’m on my own!

Most Like to Investigate?

I think for me anywhere that is underground, it always feels that little bit more claustrophobic and creepy! I have been on the ghost walk of the Edinburgh vaults and that was a very creepy place.

That would have to be when a certain gentleman spirit in the under croft at Guy’s Cliffe House came to say hello to Duncan and Nick!

My Scariest Incident.

Although I haven’t felt scared on a vigil there was one occasion in the Cave at Guys Cliffe House that really freaked me out! It was an incident with the dowsing rods and they were really being moved by someone or something else!

The Creepiest Location?

The creepiest location for me has to be the Coach House at GCH. Although nothing has actually happened to me (yet!) it really makes me feel really uncomfortable. I’m always the last one in and the first one to leave! There really is something very creepy about it!

Most Like to Investigate?

To be honest, I’d like to investigate everywhere…..there are so many places we visit and so many new places we will be attending, the list is endless. I’m just really excited about going!

My Scariest Incident.

Oh I’ve had many a moment that made me think twice about why I became a ghost hunter! Never answered that yet! A vigil in the stables at Guys Cliffe House on a public event still to this day holds the gold medal. Put it this way, I screamed like a girl but I’m not telling any more. You will have to ask one of the team members,when you can, if you feel you can’t handle the suspense!

The Creepiest Location?

Once again Guys Cliffe House has to be my creepiest location. Why? How long do you have? I think it’s safe to say it’s the only location I have ever been to that has produced everything you can imagine from voices, huge bangs, physical contact, lights, movement, full manifestations and more. The fact that it’s all under one roof(ish) is a bonus for any ghost hunter!

Most Like to Investigate?

Hmm where do I start on this one? everywhere!;) I feel if I had the chance then my top location would have to be any lunatic asylum. Another one, which you never know could one day be in the pipeline is Dover Castle.

Funniest moment on a Ghost Hunt.

Well this has to be an incident on a private ghost hunt. We’d been asked to check out a pub in Henley in Arden, Warwickshire. We were upstairs after hours and in rooms which were probably bedrooms when it was a coaching inn. In one of the larger rooms we investigated we began to hear a single set of footsteps approaching us down the corridor. We all looked at each other thinking wow, these are so real sounding! The door was closed but we needed to be sure whether they really were ghostly even if it meant they’d simply cease if we opened the door at the point they were right outside. So this we did but they were of course being made by someone of this world, but we were still shocked! Myself, Ade and Jez (one of our team at the time)  had been  greeted by the bare bum of a large nude man walking past the door! We were led to believe we alone were up on this level but infact the cook had a room down the far end and had needed the loo in the night!

Scariest Incident?

So far this would be on a private investigation at Guys Cliffe House. I was upstairs above the Chapel in a room called The Thomas Arthur Wood Suite with Nick. We were chatting about the paranormal when I saw a big white light flash by his side. We began to feel very uncomfortable and both witnessed red and white flashes of light for a further 10 minutes, then we left. When downstairs we asked Claire and Nicki to go there to see if the same thing would happen, so up they went. Nicki refused to go in though because of the atmosphere and the feelings she was getting. So being the helpful or mad guy that I am went back up there with Claire. We only lasted 5 minutes at most as it felt so threatening and awful! I do not know what was present but I’ve never felt anything as bad as that before or since.

Creepiest Location?

This would be Margam Castle in South Wales. The impression I got as I saw it for the first time was WOW! There are some very creepy areas there one of which is a small room half way up one of the back sets of stairs. Along with 3 other people I had something seriously nasty in there.

Most Like to Investigate?

I’d love to investigate the Vaults and Mary Kings Close in Edinburgh. I think that is one place that would also be very, very scary!

Funniest moment on a Ghost Hunt?

This would be at Derby Gaol. There are 2 cells there and we had split with all the females in one cell and all the males in the other. All was quiet apart from people asking out. Suddenly there was a loud bang from within the cell with the females followed by lots of screaming and people running out of the cell. We excitedly went to find out what had happened only to discover that someone’s heavy torch had dropped out of their pocket onto the floor and everyone had reacted to that! Not paranormal but all the men were in stitches of laughter.

My Scariest Incident.

As for my scariest moment I don’t have one yet! I’m not scared of what is there more fascinated as to what it may be. Ask me this again though in say 12 months time and I’m sure I will have something or several things to report!

The Creepiest Location?

So far this has to be Guys Cliffe House. When you first drive up to the house and see it in its glory it makes your hairs stand on end! When you’re actually in the house you get a constant feeling of being watched. It’s got so much history, both good and bad!

Most Like to Investigate?

It has to be Edinburgh ( possibly one of the most haunted cities in the world ) Greyfriars cemetery, The Vaults and The Castle as they all have so much history and great reputations for paranormal activity! Amityville Long Island New York is also a place I’d love to investigate, what really happened there?

Well as yet this has to be at the end of any vigil, seeing everyone rushing towards the exit door so as not to be the last out, it happens every time!
