The lore behind the Talbot Hotel seems to be in the building materials.
This Northants Haunted production takes us to the ancient market town of Oundle about 80 miles north of London along the River Nene in Northamptonshire, England, population 5,345.
We first discover that Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned at Fothinghay Castle nearby Oundle where she was tried and executed by Queen Elizabeth I.
The story goes that when the grand castle fell into ruin and was torn down, the staircase and part of the masonry was moved to and used as part of the building materials at The Tablot Hotel.
The paranormal investigators are now looking into hauntings at The Tablot and clues to any connection with the 40-something Mary Queen of Scots
